Do
NOT Promote Any Guitar Related Affiliate or Associate
Program Unless It Meets The Following Criteria!
In A Nutshell: "When and
how will I be paid?"
We are a two-tier
affiliate program that rewards you for signing
up not only customers, but other affiliates
as well. You'll be earning 30% 1st tier
commissions on your direct sales, plus you'll
earn 15% 2nd tier commissions
on sales from other affiliates that signed up
under you.

Dear Friend,
Are you the
webmaster of a guitar or music related web site? Are you
looking for a very profitable
affiliate program or associate
program to promote so that
you can make some extra
money from your web site?
If you are, may I suggest
that you ask yourself the
following questions before
choosing any program to
promote?
1) Does the
affiliate program track
sales and orders using a
single "session cookie"
or a 10-year cookie?
Why are cookies
so important? Let's make
an example. Let's pretend
that you promote Clickbank
products and you get a commission
at the time of sale, but
as I read the web site it
appears they don't set cookies,
so if someone buys 7 months
later you don't get a commission.
A lot of affiliate
and associate programs use
what are called "session
cookies" which means
you only get paid if the
person buys within 24 hours
of clicking on your link.
Worse than that, with some
programs you only get paid
if they order via your link
immediately when they go
to the web site. What this
means to you is, you've
spent all this time, energy,
effort, trouble, cost and
expense promoting to search
engines, building a link,
getting traffic, opt-ins
and clicks and in the end
you're left screwed with
the short end of the stick.
What kind of a feeling is
that?
That's why we set 10-year cookies. So, we
can track sales literally up to 10 years from the time
the person clicks on your affiliate link, limited of
course by the technical aspects of cookies. But it's
one heck of a lot better system than only paying you
if someone buys within a 12 or 24-hour period.
2) Does the
affiliate program follow
up with additional products
or services to your buyers
AND pay you commissions
on those follow up sales?
Did you know
that with a lot of programs
you don't make any money
on the follow up sales to
your buyers? You get zero.
Nada. Zilch. In other words,
you spend all your money
and all your time getting
someone to buy their products
to get a 1 time 50% commission
and the affiliate program
owner promotes the heck
out of that new buyer and
get them to buy all kinds
of other stuff and you don't
even get a thank you, let
alone a check in the mail.
With our affiliate
program we follow up with
YOUR buyers with several
different products and services
that you can earn commissions
on.
What this means to you is, you can get a
buyer one time and make additional commissions by doing
nothing because we follow up, we pay for the auto responders,
we write the emails, we handle the live chat calls,
we return emails and we make the sales and YOU get the
commission.
3) Are the
affiliate or associate program
products targeted for the
guitar?
Many guitar
web site owners fall into
a trap of promoting programs
and services that have nothing or very little to do with
the guitar. In other words,
they are pushing products
that their visitor has absolutely
no interest in. What happens
is that the web site owner
ends up not earning many
commissions because their
visitors are guitar players
interested in guitar related
products.
Don't let this happen to you!
We actively seeks out and promotes products
targeted for guitar players of all types and skill levels.
If your web site is targeted to guitar players then
it only makes sense to promote our products.
4) Does your
affiliate or associate program
promote an endless stream
of other peoples affiliate
or associate program products
to YOUR buyers and pay you
nothing?
Did you know
that a lot of affiliate
or associate program owners
pay you a 1 time commission
and then sell an endless
supply of other people's
affiliate or associate program
products to the customer
or buyer you brought to
their site, and you don't
get commission on those
sales?
Now I am not
saying that I don't occasionally
promote one of my friend's
products or services, because
quite frankly, I do, but
it's sure as heck nothing
remotely resembling a non-stop
barrage. I spend the vast
majority of my time attention
and effort promoting my
own products to my own customers
so that I can pay my affiliates
commission on those sales,
because that's what they
deserve.
Of course
a lot of affiliate program
owners can't do this. Why?
Because they only have 1
product to begin with so
they have no choice. They
have bills to pay and mouths
to feed so they have to
promote other people's products
or services and you're left
with a check not even big
enough to buy a latte at
Starbucks.
Are you beginning
to get a picture here?
I have full time staff that helps me create
new products. We have a growing product list that we
pay commissions on and those commissions go right into
your pocket. Plus, we do the follow up for you. And
we use 10-year cookies to do our best to make sure you
get paid on sales down the line.
5) Does the
affiliate or associate program
offer a two tier commission
structure?
Most programs
pay commissions only on
sales from visitors directly
sent by you, but with our
special two tier system
you can earn additional
commissions from visitors
that you never even sent!
All you have
to do is introduce other
people like yourself to our affiliate program.
When they become an affiliate
themselves, you'll also
earn an extra 15% referral fee on each and
every sale that they make. And there's no limit
to the number of sub-affiliates
you can have.
This aspect
of our affiliate program
greatly increases your chances
of make big money. We can't
tell you how much money
you will make ... but imagine
if you generate just one
sale per day -- and then
you introduced 10 other
people to the affiliate
program who did the same.
Imagine if you introduced
100 people to the affiliate
program. The sky is the
limit.
6) Does the
affiliate or associate program
offer live chat support
so customers can get answers
to their sales questions
and customer service problems
on the spot?
So you go
out on a limb and recommend
a product, then the customer
buys it and can't access
it or has some other problem.
There's no live chat support,
they send an email and don't
get a return response.
Now how do
you think the customer feels
about you and your recommendation
at that point? Probably
not too happy? What do you
think they are going to
do next time you make a
recommendation? They're
probably going to pass.
With Guitar-Profits.com
we pay live support operators
to be there so your customers
can have their questions
and problems answered right
away. Live support can be
expensive and there are
not that many companies
that are willing to go that
extra mile for their affiliates.
What's more,
the customers have to be
able to find the support.
On our product's web sites
the support button is right
there on the navigation
bar. It's super easy to
find. We also have a support
desk. In the event our support
person has to take a break
for any reason, your customer
or potential customer can
leave a message on our help
desk and receive an immediate
tracking number.
In short, when you join our affiliate program,
we are going to treat the customers right. The way the
deserve to be treated.
7) Does the
affiliate or associate program
offer live support where
you can get YOUR questions
answered?
Let's say
you need your affiliate
program ID or have a commission
question. Other than the
email that's (more than
likely) going to get lost
in the vast Internet system
full of ISP email spam blockers
and filters, is there any
way you can get support?
With Guitar-Profits.com,
we've got our person there
live on weekdays to help
you so all you need to do
is go to our support page
and click the chat button.
(The hours are 10:00 AM
PST to 4:30 PM CST, Monday
thru Friday).
8) Does the
affiliate program have a
bulletproof tracking system?
We have done
everything possible to ensure
that you always get credit
for sales that result from
your efforts. Whether the
visitors you send have their
"cookies" turned
on or off, you'll know they
are being tracked properly.
We track all sales -- not
only those that originate
at the online form, but
also if a customer registers
via mail or fax. Your affiliate
ID code is hard-coded into
the registration form.
In short, we go out of our way to make
sure you get the referral fees that you deserve. Real-time
statistics are provided (which allows you to view your
traffic and sales stats at any time), and you also receive
an email notification whenever you make a sale or signup
a new sub-affiliate.
In Closing
I hope this
has been an eye opening
experience. As you can see,
not all affiliate programs
are as great as they say.
We created
ours with YOU in mind and
we work hard to make YOU
money and keep YOU happy.
We aren't perfect. We make
mistakes. But we're on the
ball. We're responsive.
We've available. And we
do our best to follow up
with your customers that
you bring in and pay you
commissions on repeat sales.
So if that's
the kind of program you
want to be a member of,
then sign up now.
Sincerely,
Kenny Mann
Webmaster
