Crosspicking : The Reverse Roll Pattern

The reverse roll pattern revolves around the down, up, up, down, up, up, down, up theory, so it is different than the others that we have worked with. The examples below will help you grasp the concept much easier. Notice the dotted line after the "v" and you can see that it captures two notes that need to be played in an upstroke. Remember, the symbol that looks like a staple signifies a downstroke, and the "v" signifies an upstroke.
