For the exercises on this page, do not use your 1st finger for
any reason. All the fingering should be done the 2nd, 3rd, and
4th fingers only. This will help you build dexterity in those
fingers. These exercises are little tough to perform at first,
but whatever you do don't alter the fingerings or the whole point
will be missed.
