Difficulty: Intermediate - AdvancedTuning: all flats : Eb (D#) Ab (G#) Db (C#) Gb (F#) Bb (A#) Eb (D#) As made popular by the Guitar Hero games, this relatively unknown song packs QUITE a punch. Pretty much everything from rock to folk to...whatever else is played in this song. Don't judge that it MIGHT be considered "new" music to some of you classic rockers out there. Just try it and you'll see! IntroGuitar 1 - Acoustic Near the end of the intro, you'll see a "P" which tells you to bring the volume in when playing the power chord on the electric. You can do this by striking the chord (while volume is completely down or silent) at the end of the previous measure and then bring your volume in by the G6/B chord played on the acoustic. Here's the acoustic:
Here's the full intro:
VerseGuitar 1 - Acoustic The electric guitar will play a recurring power chord theme, while the acoustic comes in after the second measure of the verse. Listening to the audio files will help a great deal on this part.
InterludeGuitar 1 - Acoustic This part is full of confusing tags, but it's actually really simple. You are basically REVERSING the intro, where the electric will bring the volume from high to low. The only other guitar is a simple open string note on the B string.
ChorusGuitars 2 and 3 - Electric You will be playing two guitar parts, and both are rather daunting. We usually break each guitar part up, but this time it is important to see where the two fit together: Here's the full Chorus:
Here's Guitar 1:
Here's Guitar 2:
Interlude 2I didn't include the very beginning of the second interlude because it was very self-explanatory. Here's the rest: Guitars 2, 3, and 4 - Electric
