"Wait" by White Lion

Riff Rundown

Difficulty: Intermediate

In this lesson I will teach you how to play two different parts from the verses of "Wait" by the 80's metal band White Lion. The band featured a very talented guitarist in Vito Bratta (far right in picture above).

Verse Interlude

Both riffs have extensive use of palm mutes (P.M.) To do this you'll rest the heel of your picking hand lightly on the strings just before the bridge and apply a little pressure as you pick the string. This will create a slightly muffled tone for the note.
